One month to go before The Musical Masterclass returns to the Royal Theatre Castlebar! Andy Reiss, former Resident Director and Principal Performer in Les Misérables, and Musical Director and Director of Beyond the Barricade (the UKs longest running musical theatre touring concert), delivers the weekend workshop, giving participants the opportunity to work on the songs and scenes from the amazing trio of musicals, Les Misérables, Come from Away and Hamilton. Andy brings extensive knowledge, personal experience, and creative insight into these productions to the class. He will share ways to expand vocal expertise and stagecraft and participants are encouraged to push their own personal boundaries in a comfortable and friendly environment. The chosen material is looked at in depth, there is plenty of scope for solo and ensemble singing and Andy gives participants a taste of the intensity of working towards a polished professional production. The Masterclass takes place from Friday evening to Sunday evening, 30th September - 2nd October 2022 inclusive. Course fee for the weekend is €120.
